AJB Construction were recommended by a long time friend. The work was to remove existing timber facias/soffits and associated gutters/downpipes and replace with new UPVC/Plastic materials. This was at our residential property, our home. Andrew, made contact and we arranged a visit to survey and price the work. What impressed me most was Andrew's professional approach to everything, taking precise measurements, calculating materials accurately and fairly so that the costs were truly reflective of the proposed work. He treat us with utmost respect. And for me that was the principal factor that I was looking for. Shortly after the survey, I received a fully compartmentalised breakdown of the costs, which were very fair, and I know this because my neighbours had recently had the same work done, our costs came in much more competitively. We agreed a start date and the work was carried out in mid-August 2024. The first element of the work was the scaffolding, and I must admit, I wasn't looking forward to this part. However, Andrew assured me that the scaffolding company he used were the epitome of professionalism, and true to his word they most certainly were, Aaron the owner/scaffolder was polite, communicative and respectful, to both us and our neighbours, indeed our neighbours gave us most favourable feedback. Aaron and his partner worked like trojans. What this meant was that AJB (Andrew) could commence with the essential works seamlessly and straight into it. The work was completed with aplomb. We are highly delighted with the finished product. I've waited until now to post this review, because I wanted to wait until we had the worse weather possible to test the integrity of the completion, and that weather came this weekend, I can report that everything is absolutely perfect. We are so grateful to Andrew for the work he has done. These kind of projects always leave us anxious that the work will be completed exactly how we expect. Trust is the key element to any relationship/agreement. I am so glad that my old friend made the recommendation. Finally, what I would say. If you're considering employing AJB (Andrew) what you'll get is: Respect, Reliability, Communication, Fairness, Politeness, Calmness and that absolutely essential element Trust. We've already agreed the outline parts of our next project with him for next Summer, and I'm looking forward to Andrew completing this work. Thank you Andrew, we are sincerely grateful to you. He was really professional, but friendly. funny and really easy to get on with. I was really impressed with his team and all their very hard work.
