Please stop delivering your junk mail to our cottage. We come up here to get away from this stuff. This review has nothing to do with Allair's products. They produce a number of media products including a junk mail real estate magazine, which is beautifully put together. This review is about their distribution. I have, in the past, requested not to have their magazine dropped on my docks. Yesterday, while pulling into my property, I watched a jet ski toss their junk mail packet on my dock. I waved the driver down, explained that I had requested not to have junk mail (general term for unwanted promotional material - again, the magazine is well put together but it is junk mail) on my dock and asked him to remove it. He circled around in front of my dock for about a minute and then decided to take off without picking up the junk mail. I called Allair Media while the driver was still in sight (dropping at all the neighbouring cottages) and was told by a very pleasant person that they would radio the driver and have them come and retrive the unwanted junk mail from my dock. They didn't return. In summary. I asked them not to deliver in the past. I stopped a guy delivering and asked him to remove it - he didn't. I called and asked for it to be removed - it wasn't. This magazine is supported by advertising. Nothing wrong with that. Everybody is entitled to make a buck. Advertisers are told that Allair's magazines are put in the hands of willing and interested parties known as "targeted circulation to an attractive demographic". Marketing speak for "we get your ads in front of rich folks who are love our magazine and are likely to want your products and services" This is not the case. These magazines are dropped on the docks of unknowing cottagers. There were 5 magazines dropped at different docks on our property yesterday. None of them were requested or appreciated. One was actually dumped on a beached swim raft :)
