SExceptional service, brilliant food, unsurpassed open-kitchen atmosphere. Mountain is everything it has been made out to be and more. Brat 2.0. The menu is varied and well-balanced, and the staff make you feel right at home. We came to celebrate a birthday and now we'll be back with the family the night before our wedding in a few weeks. Thank you, Chef, Mathilda, and everyone else. Our new favourite spot in London!
Nandini MazumdarWas very excited to come here and it’s definitely good, though I was sadly not wowed, considering the hype and Michelin star. In terms of positives, the fresh cheese and anchovy, the grilled bread, the scallop and crab omelette and the burnt lemon dessert were delicious, our servers were great and the wine was delicious. However, the green garlic and the langoustines (which are on the pricier side) missed the mark and we were seated in the downstairs area (which is nowhere nearly as nice as in the upstairs main dining room), which definitely impacted our experience. Overall it’s a good spot and worth going to, albeit on the pricier side - make sure to get a table in the main dining area!
Karen ChuiSo much deliciousness! We started with the grilled langoustines, grilled asparagus with egg yolk, crab omelet, and raw monkfish with scallops. For mains we had the rice and whole John Dory. Everything was so good that we used the bread to soak up all the sauces on the plates! Great wine list as well, we opted for a 2016 red Bourgogne by Boisson. Paired beautifully with everything. Will definitely go back!
Audrey TeoThe pork chop was great. Everything else was alright. The number of different dishes that had the same garlic olive oil emulsion splooshed on top was rather alarming. It was used to drown the sardines, john dory fish, cockles and potatoes. Service was really good. The host and our server were both excellent. Very welcoming and knowledge on the menu and allergens.
