Called this company for a quote on two simple jobs: • Replace a tub faucet • Install a Vogo shower head For a plumber (or even an apprentice), this should be a 20–30 minute job. Instead: • The plumber showed up hours late. I had to call to find out where he was. • The quote came back at an outrageous $1,019 (see attached). • On top of that, they tried to push a membership plan. • When I called to complain, they didn’t care. This feels dishonest, greedy, and predatory. Hard to believe the 1,199 five-star reviews are genuine given my experience. Recommendation: stay as far away from this company as possible.

Quick search on the internet after discovering we had an overflow of water in our laundry sink. We called Birnie plumbing and had the best customer service and had a plumber at our door within 3 hours. Jacob was an amazing plumber who quickly identified the issue, gave several options and let us choose the best solution for us. We choose the hydro scrub with high pressure water to unclog the pipes. We also got to see video from the main water area in our house to over 100 feet out to the city drain. Jacob was very polite , knowledgeable and educated us about why and how !! We are happy with the service. Highly recommend this Hamilton based company.

Well, what a day. I noticed my sump pump was working fine, but when it was bringing the water outside to our drain it was spilling over the pipe. I called Birnie’s and within in an hour the most wonderful technician (Jacob D) arrived. I have never met a more helpful, hardworking young man. He explained everything and let me see on the camera where the blockage was. He then quoted me a price, and off to work he went. I want to say this company is outstanding and their employees are top notch. THANK YOU for making an and pleasant job more pleasurable. You can be sure that we will be passing along this company‘s name and number to everyone that we know Bravo Birnie Plumbing.

We are newer home owners who don’t know allot and got into an emergency the second day we moved in. We picked this company randomly and I can say I am more thankful than anything to have chosen them. They came out to welland instantly, and Eric and Jon were unbelievably amazing to deal with first. They fixed my emergency fast and efficiently and we’re just great to deal with. The next day they were able to come out again and take care of all other work needed and Charlie was the best and most professional/educated plumber I’ve ever dealt with. He took so much time to go over and explain to me what was going on, he was amazingly honest and transparent, and he just was so good to work with. I will be recommending and using this company from here forward and encourage everyone try them out. Best experience ever and prices were actually great!
