I ❤️ this yoga studio! Evidently, it’s the oldest yoga center in Santa Barbara and offers a variety of yoga modalities but the Iyengar classes are my jam. Both Vanessa Bacher and Sarah Tuttle are exemplary instructors. I went in with back pain from a fall and one class with Sarah resolved what no medication, massage, or chiropractor could do. Best of all, they have this deal for new students that’s a month of unlimited classes for $60.

I’ve practiced yoga in several studios in Santa Barbara, but my favorite is Santa Barbara Yoga center. The studio is an historic Santa Barbara building with tall ceilings with beautiful windows and lighting. Instructors are professionally trained and each have a unique style. SBYC offers a variety of friendly and welcoming class, workshops, training, with varied pricing and payment options. It is close to downtown making it easy to walk or ride a bike, parking is convenient as well. I would definitely recommend Santa Barbara Yoga Center when looking for a studio and practice that meets your needs.
