The room was clean. The owners very nice people. The rates were good. No ice machine but store across the street where you could purchase microwave fast food. Rocky's restaurant across the street for fine eating. Parking lots have plenty of light so I felt very safe at night. Just ask owners for shampoo and conditioner, remote for TV. Bed was very comfortable. Has smoking rooms.

This was not an ideal place at all. For starters, the first room we were checked into had a broken door knob. The office lady used a master key on it then tried to dip like she fixed the problem, no sweetheart, the knob was falling out of the door and she was going to have maintenance "spray it so it won't stick". She finally offered a different room which seemed fine enough until we started getting settled, it was obvious the room had not been cleaned correctly and there was a broken table in the room. I took a picture as soon as I entered so I wouldn't get charged by them. Next the TV remote wasn't working, which was no biggy, until I went to the front desk to get new batteries.. she tried to swap dead batteries with other dead batteries that were just chillin a Tupperware dish mixed with multiple sizes of batteries. After fiddling around (avoiding the BRAND NEW unopened packed that was on top of her fine battery collection) she finally got some new batteries. When I came back my roomie had taken a blanket out, there were red and white splotches that were dried onto the blanket so it clearly hadn't been cleaned! When I tried to leave my room I noticed the deadbolt didn't work with my key, and in this part of town you definitely need it! When the front desk was confronted on the problem the man there tried to blame us for the broken table, and tried to play off the blanket like it hadn't given away their lack of cleaning efforts. They refused us a full refund and tried to keep all of our money. They next tried to say I had to call my booking site for a refund when I PAID IN CASH!!!! They gave me barely half the money back after claiming they had to charge me for a night since I checked in an hour prior, but we had MAYBE been there 20 minutes! These people play stupid to play people to fraudulently make money, don't be fooled they are absolutely crooked and dirty.

1st time here. Nice & quiet. Unfortunately...the room wasn't cleaned after the last people. Used soap, body hair and used towels in the bathroom. Asked for 2 queens got 2 double. Price went up little over $10 from reservation. The folks I talked to are very nice!!! Just a bit disappointed. But not enough to go to another tonight!

Room needs to be up to date, need new bedding,pillows, sheets, towels and also shower curtains has molded on them. Also I have seen several little roaches and bugs and not a clean microwave or refrigerator, overall stay was horrible and they need to update the entire building.
