Catherine Bishop Before Dr. Hacking retired, I was a patient of his for over 35 years and my husband for longer. We’ve been so pleased with our dental outcomes over the years. Dr. Hacking and his dental team have been key in our overall health and sense of wellbeing. And, he left us in excellent hands. Dr. Yassine is now our dentist; and Roz continues to be our Dental Hygienist. With his upbeat manner, sense of humour, and rapport with his team, Dr. Yassine makes me feel relaxed and confident. He thinks outside the box, clearly considers less extreme diagnoses, and explains his reasoning. He’s easy to talk to, lets you know where things are at as he works, and is alert to how the patient is responding. Roz has been a constant inspiration to me to stick to a frequent brushing/flossing routine. When I’m tempted to shirk, I just think of Roz’s thorough and meticulous preventive health care and her ongoing encouragement. Her experience and expertise are evident, e.g., in a recent appointment, when an x-ray was particularly puzzling in an area where a root canal and crown had been done, Roz assuredly located an elusive cavity. She is also very helpful at clarifying things I may not have understood. At a recent appointment for a filling, Daniela, Dental Assistant, immediately made me feel comfortable. She was friendly, went over the procedure, and invited questions. Daniela and Dr. Yassine worked quickly and smoothly together. Despite having to spend a little time during my appointment finishing up urgent treatment for another patient, they managed my appointment completely professionally. Gave me confidence that the clinic does its best to work patients needing urgent care into the regular schedule. The administrative team at reception are welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. They make sure you understand the invoicing and what to expect from insurance, and are accommodating in setting up appointments. Administrative and dental team members smoothly co-ordinate with one another.

My dentist, Dr. Yassine performed a very tricky dental procedure to fill a cavity that was next to a crown on my lower left. He said that few detist would attempt to do the procedure because of the danger of damaging the crown and would opt to replace the crown at great expense to the client and the government's dental insurance plan. I was in and out in 25 minutes with very limited discomfort. Within six hours I was able to eat food without worry about damaging the filling. I was very pleased with the way Dr. Yassine informs about what he is doing and why. I also want to thank his extremely compitent Dental Assistant Danielle who continues to do a superb job, always knowing what the next steps are so the procedures are done in a timeless manner. She's a major asset on the Yassine Dental Team.

Dr Yassine, the receptionist, and the whole team at Kent Street dental are wonderful. They are very reassuring and transparent about what treatment needs to get done.
