I recently visited The Salon in uptown Hoboken for the first time, and I'm so glad I found this place! Giovanni was an absolute pleasure to work with. He took the time to listen to my concerns and questions about hair styling and care, and his patience and expertise put me at ease. I showed him some inspiration pics of the haircut I wanted, and he truly delivered - the final result was exactly what I was looking for. Giovanni's attention to detail and ability to understand my vision were impressive. I highly recommend Giovanni and The Salon to anyone looking for a talented and caring stylist. Can't wait for my next appointment! (Also the head massage during hair wash was amaaazing)

I honestly felt a bit anxious about trusting someone new, however, Giovanni made the experience incredibly positive! From the moment I walked in, he was warm, professional, and attentive; qualities that immediately put me at ease. What stood out most was how thoughtful and attentive he was. I wasn’t sure what kind of haircut would suit me best, and he took the time to walk me through different options based on my face shape and hair type, which helped me feel more confident in the decision. He also took the time to explain each product he used on my hair, how it worked, and how I could use it myself at home, something I really appreciated as someone who's still learning about hair care. I'm usually shy in unfamiliar settings, but the environment was genuinely comforting, and Giovanni's kindness helped me feel completely at ease. Giovanni is fantastic! He took time to understand what I wanted and followed the reference photos with care. I could feel their experience right away — every move felt confident and precise. The head massage during the wash was a highlight, so relaxing. On top of that, he’s friendly and easy to talk to. Most importantly, the result is amazing, I’ve never had so much volume! The space is spotless and full of natural light 🤍 highly recommend!

I received an excellent haircut from Giovanni. This was my first time with him and he listened to my requests. I left feeling fantastic. The salon is very nice with big windows and a comfortable, clean atmosphere. Conveniently located off the light rail which is a plus! Definitely recommend, prices are very reasonable too.
